What’s New in DiningManager: October 2026

The latest DiningManager release is here, with updates across PlateFul, MealCard, TableSide, and DiningHub designed to give teams more flexibility, make everyday tasks easier, and keep important resident and meal service information at your fingertips.

We’re also introducing several new TableSide features in beta with select communities.

Here’s a look at what’s new.

More Flexibility in TableSide

This release brings several updates to TableSide, giving communities more flexibility in how they manage meal service and making it easier to capture important resident information along the way.

Queue Multiple Menus

Communities can now queue multiple menus for meal service and assign different menus to individual dining areas.

For communities with multiple dining rooms or venues, this makes it easier to ensure the right menu is available in the right place.

Record Resident Meal Intake

TableSide Service Staff can now record resident meal intake directly within TableSide as part of the meal service workflow.

Recorded intake from TableSide is also available to view within the MealCard resident profile, giving teams another way to capture and review information that can be an important indicator of a resident’s nutritional and clinical wellness.

More TableSide Information in MealCard

The TableSide tab in MealCard has a new look and more information in one place.

Users can now access:

  • • A meal service dashboard
  • • Order history by meal
  • • Recorded meal intake
  • • Previous orders, with options to edit or delete when needed
  • • Quick print options

TableSide reporting has also been updated to support these new capabilities.

New TableSide Features in Beta

We’re excited to begin beta testing several new TableSide features.

MarketPlace

MarketPlace gives residents a convenient way to purchase community items through TableSide.

Stripe Payment Processing

Stripe payment processing allows communities to securely accept credit card payments for MarketPlace purchases.

MealPlans

With MealPlans, communities can create and manage resident meal plans, track usage, and see remaining meal balances.

These features are currently available to a select group of communities, with more to come. Stay tuned for the official launch!

More Flexibility in PlateFul

PlateFul also has several new enhancements designed to simplify menu planning and everyday workflows.

More Options with Approve My Menu

The Custom Approve My Menu Builder provides additional flexibility for menu review needs, including programs such as Senior Feeding and CACFP.

Automatic Meal Percentages

Selected recipe categories can now be set to automatically update Meal Percentages when menu changes are made. Updated percentages are calculated when the menu is saved.

Additional PlateFul updates include:

  • • Shopping Lists added to Quick Print
  • • Automated spreading for combination diets
  • • Improved Nutrition Analysis pie chart calculations
  • • Corporate recipe folders available in sub-recipe and meal add-on searches
  • • New corporate controls for approved categories in MenuPlanner and recipe searches
  • • Canadian cooking temperatures displayed in both Fahrenheit and Celsius
  • • “Cooking Temperature” replacing “Oven Temperature” on printed recipes
  • • Updated Submit Recipe messaging

Easier Substitution Management in MealCard

MealCard now includes a new Meal filter when copying substitutions, along with options to reset or clear substitutions in bulk.

For communities using the PCC CareSync integration, unmapped food allergies will now appear under Other Allergies, helping ensure important allergy information remains visible to your team.

New Reporting in DiningHub

Consulting Insights in DiningHub now includes Audit Reports and Comparison Audit Reports, making it easier to review audit results and compare performance over time.

We’ve also made behind-the-scenes improvements to our consulting tools to help DiningRD consultants more efficiently manage scheduling, visits, and contracted hours.

A New LifeLoop Integration

DiningRD now supports integration with LifeLoop, helping connect resident information and engagement experiences across platforms.

These enhancements reflect our continued focus on making DiningManager simpler and more useful for the teams who rely on it every day.

The October release is available beginning October 7.
